The contest
The first week is your window. Refer people, climb the leaderboard. On Monday, April 27 at 11:00 UTC, a snapshot is taken. The top 1% of the referral leaderboard earn invites to Alpha's private group — and that's where the contest begins.
Only 1% members can compete for the gold bar. Miss the cutoff and the door closes to this contest.
The gold bar leaderboard will begin tallying shortly after the snapshot, at market open (13:30 UTC) on Monday, April 27. Refer people and you're automatically entered. The more you refer, the higher your score — and every secondary referral earns you 3x the points. In practice: you refer your trader friend Alex, you get 1 point. Alex refers two people — you get 3 points each, 6 total.
EDIT: Most referral points by SUNDAY, May 10 at 20:00 UTC wins the gold bar.
A note on points: these are campaign points — separate from your regular Alpha points. The campaign leaderboard runs independently, but every new referral during the campaign window counts toward both your campaign score and your regular Alpha points.

2. Eligibility: Void where prohibited by law. Void explicitly in: United States, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, Myanmar, Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. 3. Contest Period: The qualification phase will begin on the date announced by Alpha on X and over text and runs for one week, ending at the snapshot. Following the snapshot, the contest phase runs for two weeks and is open exclusively to participants who qualified for Alpha's 1% tier (the “Contest Period”). Alpha reserves the right to modify the Contest Period with reasonable notice.
4. How to Enter: Sign up for the Alpha waitlist using your phone number, or be an existing participant with a referral code. Share your unique referral link to invite others. Points are tracked automatically. To advance to the contest phase, participants must rank in the top 1% of the referral leaderboard at the time of the snapshot. Only participants who receive an invitation to Alpha's private group following the snapshot are eligible to compete for prizes.
5. Scoring: Tier 1 referral (new user signs up via your link): 1 point. Tier 2 referral (your Tier 1 referral refers another new user who signs up): 3 points to you. Points are credited once the referred account is active for 24 hours and passes verification. Alpha reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the authenticity of any referral and to disqualify points or entries associated with bot activity, automated tools, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or any other attempt to manipulate the contest. All such determinations are final.
6. Verification: Valid unique phone number required per account. Each phone number may only be associated with one entry. Virtual/VoIP numbers may be disqualified. Accounts showing bot-assisted or coordinated inauthentic behavior will be disqualified.
7. Prizes: Total approximate value ~$2,250. 1st place: one (1) 10-gram gold bar, approximate retail value $1,500 USD at time of the contest start. 2nd place: $500 USDT. 3rd place: $250 USDT. Cash prizes paid in USDT to winner-provided wallet. Alpha may, at its sole discretion, substitute USDT of equivalent value in lieu of physical gold if delivery is impracticable due to customs, import restrictions, or other logistical constraints. No other substitutions. Non-transferable.
8. Sanctions Compliance: Participants are responsible for ensuring their compliance with all applicable sanctions laws and regulations. Individuals or entities located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions imposed by the United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom, United States (including OFAC), or any other relevant authority are ineligible to participate in this contest. Any entries found to be in violation of these sanctions will be disqualified. Participants must certify that they are not subject to any such sanctions and agree to indemnify and hold Alpha harmless from any liability arising from breaches of this provision.
9. Platform Disclaimer: This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by X (Twitter) or any other social media platform. By participating, entrants agree to release X and any other platforms from any and all liability related to this contest.
10. Governing Law and Disputes: This contest and these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this contest shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Cayman Islands, and participants consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

12. Winner Selection: Determined by final point totals among qualified 1% tier participants at contest close. Ties are broken by the earliest timestamp. Winners are notified within 3 business days of close via text. Winners must respond within 7 days or forfeit.
13. Taxes: Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes.
14. Privacy Policy and Data Collection: By participating in this contest, participants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal information, including but not limited to name, phone number, referral activity, and wallet address (where applicable), by Alpha for the purposes of administering the contest.
- Collection of Phone Numbers: As part of the verification process, participants are required to provide a valid, unique phone number. This phone number will be used solely for account verification, fraud prevention, and contest administration purposes. Phone numbers will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the contest.
- Use of Personal Information: Personal information collected in connection with this contest may be used to: (i) verify participant eligibility; (ii) administer and operate the contest; (iii) notify winners and facilitate prize fulfillment; (iv) comply with applicable legal obligations, including sanctions screening under Section 8; and (v) prevent fraud and unauthorized or inauthentic activity.

- Participants' Rights: Depending on the jurisdiction in which a participant resides, participants may have rights with respect to their personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal information. - Security: Alpha takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information collected in connection with this contest against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Alpha cannot guarantee absolute security.
By entering the contest, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood this Privacy Policy and Data Collection section and consent to the collection and use of their personal information as described herein.
15. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alpha shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the contest. In the event that Alpha is found to be liable for any reason, the total liability shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). Participants acknowledge that this limitation of liability is a critical element of the agreement and that Alpha would not provide the contest without such limitations. Participants acknowledge that they are participating voluntarily and assume all risks associated with participation in this contest.
16. General: Alpha reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time without prior notice. All decisions regarding eligibility, scoring, disqualification, and prize awards are final and subject to Alpha's sole discretion.
